The Bookshelf: Birds Of The World by Paul Barruel!

I am excited to share another vintage beauty with you that my Mum found in a charity shop whilst away for the weekend. I instantly fell in love with the soft, delicate illustrations in 'Birds of the World: Their Life and Habits by Paul Barruel' and couldn't resist sharing it with you.

I have included a selection of my favourite illustrations, that highlight the natural beauty of not only every day little birdies we are used to seeing but other more exotic and unusual birds.

I have not included a photograph of the front cover as it is missing. This inspiring book was first published in London, 1954.

Birds of the World by Paul Barruel is available to add to your collection here!

  1. Love this illustrator!!

My mum gave me her childhood books of European birds. His drawings are hard to beat!
