Whimsical Christmas Cards by Lost Plots!

Last Christmas I was delighted to stumble across the stunning illustrations of Lisa Robson when visiting a vintage market at Leaf, a quirky and independent cafe. Lisa is a Liverpool based designer and illustrator who creates under the name of 'Lost Plots'. Her beautifully hand drawn and printed selection of greetings cards and postcards were a must have for me! Below are a selection from her Christmas range, Lisa also has a stunning selection of other narrative designs available to buy online.

'Reindeer Friends'
Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?

'Joyeux Noel Snowman'
In the meadow we can build a snowman...

Lisa has a real elegance to the way she draws and captures both textural qualities and detail beautifully in her enchanting scenes. I love how she adds lines from songs, poetry and books to support her designs. The simplistic natural calico fabric background set off her black linear monochrome illustrations wonderfully.

'Ice Skater'
Face unafraid, the plans that we've made,
Walking in a winter wonderland...

'Reindeer In The Snow'
A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight...
Walking in a winter wonderland

'The Christmas Wolf'
When you can see the words you breathe and the trees have shed every leaf...
Remember to wrap up warm in the arms of a wolf for though they may growl they still need love
